We let the game get away from us in the midfield but I think defensively we're looking more solid this year. Just need to be more clinical.

As an aside Refs need to get a grip on these long throws. It seems you can just take them where the fuck you want and apparently taking 30 secs getting a towel to dry the ball isn't wasting time but 20 secs looking for someone in space is a booking.

Big win. Huff and puff second half. Pity Rodri went off injured. It will be hard to get to his best with all these injuries.

Only 3 points behind 1st place. Not too bad a start from our point of view.
 
Please, do us a favour and nobody claim "that's what champions do"....
Great 1st half but again, a 2nd half with nothing offered upfront.
Savinho has a dreadful mentality, weak, more intent on claiming non-existent fouls than getting on with the game
Good from O'Reilly, Nunes, Dias, GK and Big Erl
Need a lot more from midfield to really challenge for the title
 
Pep and Henderson there at the end - I wonder if either of them couldn't understand a fucking word the other was saying?!
 
Very lucky to hang on. Worrying how often we totally collapse after half time.
Like Monaco, totally dominate the 1st half, Monaco was 10 shots to 1, today 9 to 1 but we are truly awful at shooting bar Haaland and cannot kill games off.
Then, like Monaco, a total embarrassment of a performance 2nd half. What in earth does Pep say at half time.

Savinho showed the extension was a joke, he is miles off the quality needed. We must have one of the least threatening set of wide players in the PL.

Really could do with another striker option on the bench. If Haaland gets injured, we have zero goal threat
 
Not pretty but we have the best striker in the world up top. Who will probably drag us to a title. He’s unstoppable this Haaland is probably the best he’s been
 
I guess the only positive from that second half is, if this was last year, we wouldn't have won that game!!
 
i dont usually go all in on the refs but fuck me everything at the end was for them - there was no defection of donarumma on that rebound they got a corner,,,,Oreilly gets booked for time wasting on a throw in whilst they take 40 seconds on their long ones and then at the end the ridiculous territory stealing on dead balls.

In the corner then at the end they stole 15 yards absolute joke
