It might help if he saw a player offering himself. It's been an ongoing problem for a few seasons

I think we forget that as of FA Cup 3rd round last year he had barely played.
Since then he has become our best option at LB which isn’t even his position.
There are a lot more other players playing in their normal position who are piss poor in comparison

Yeah it's been like that for years, everyone's stood around like statues as if were the ones defending the throw ins

Better than Nouri who has zero defensive ability

That 1st touch is why I struggle to see him being a top midfielder.

He can improve it of course, but I simply dont think it'll ever be elite enough for him to be a world class midfielder.

But he can easily become a world class left back.
