There was a particular incident yesterday where he pretended he was fouled (he wasn't), pretended he was injured (he wasn't) and was rolling around just off the pitch while the ball was still in play. After realising he wasn't getting a free kick, he miraculously recovered, sprung back up, ran on the pitch and actually took the ball off a Brentford player!

You are correct in that this kind of behaviour is rife across the league but that doesn't make it right. He needs to toughen up and stop with the playacting, I don't want to see that in a blue shirt.

He's better on the right imo but at Brentford Pep wanted to play Bobb on the right. City have 3 very exciting wide forward imo. Doku is one of the best wingers in the Premier League at the moment but he can't play every game. Bobb played very well in the 1st half at Brentford. He just needs more games.

No way will he ever be at the level we need.
Look at how Doku has started to improve. Anyone seen it with Savio??
To lightweight for the physicality of this league.

He is not and nowhere will ever be the winger we require. Bookmark this. He will be sold in summer
 
Problem is we have 4, young and 'upcoming' wingers in Doku, Bobb, Cherki and Savinho. We dont really have time to wait and see all of them develop. Thats too many in my opinion, so we should have sold him in the summer and bought a bit of experience.

Yet Pep and others think otherwise, people who have actually built, coached and managed trophy winning sides.

There are reasons they in the jobs they are in and a lot of us are here expressing just opinions
 
Was thinking back to the game this morning, came on here, saw the comments about Savinho… realised I’d forgotten he was even on the pitch yesterday. Can’t remember a single thing he did, or any involvement of note whatsoever.

Compare and contrast with Doku’s season so far.

Yeah. I said in the summer that we probably have one too many of that type of winger. One needs to go and be replaced by one with a track record

Savinho- Hugs the wing, receives the ball and then not a lot after. Doku- roams around the wing, drops back, receives the ball, beats players, causes chaos.

Doku has only really started to improve in the last few games, yet he has been here longer and is older than Savinho. A bit of patience is required.

Spurs never bid 70M + he is our youngest winger and was literally injured. Still don’t know what you expect. Ask the club why they didn’t get 1 proven winger instead
 
In his very first few games with us I remember him literally subbing himself off due to being 'injured' and was constantly limping off the pitch. Took him a while to play a full 90 mins if I remember correctly.

As soon as i saw this i knew the guy was an absolute lightweight.

His haircut says it all for me.

Not for me. He is lightweight and levels, plural, below what we need, or have had previously. Bobb looks like a better prospect, but he seems to go missing. He had a few excellent moments yesterday, but is it enough? He's incredibly raw, sure, but he may have a lot of distance to travel to reach the level we need to challenge for top honours. Just my opinion.

The issue with City is, for me, all about quality; what we have brought in to replace genuine class going out. We have neither upgraded nor recruited at the same levels as previously. Alright, finding another KDb or David is basically impossible, but we are nowhere near it. Haaland is different to Kun, and IMHO not as good, but he is certainly at the required level, his output is sensational. Donnarumma seems to be right, no doubt, but elsewhere, not so sure. Thing is, everyone was salivating over Wirtz, and at 125m, it seemed like we had missed out on the next sensational player. Early doors, sure, but he doesn't look anywhere near it either. Perhaps there is a dearth of real quality out there?
