I'm often working in Europe, and can honestly say that the proportion of haters:lovers I encounter mirrors pretty accurately what I see in this thread.

I haven't been to the US in '25 but have spoken to a few who have, and not one has found themselves among a group of Trump supporters.

This must mean something, surely?

If he's given a Nobel Prize, I'd expect to see quite a few surviving winners returning theirs on the grounds that it's significantly diminished in value.

I would HOPE to see that happening. I would also hope and expect that the prestige of the Nobel prizes would be irreversibly tarnished and that the awarding committee are fully aware of that
