Classic Rock (Phil Collins lives, run for the hills)

Rush touring again in 2026.
Sadly only N America.
After the last tour not coming over here will be really gutted if this one doesn’t come either.
Even for just one mega date at Wembley or something.
From the interview they did, it sounds like if the iniital dates go well, there will be more and hopefully they will include the UK. Neil didn't like flying but I don't think Alex and Geddy mind.

Geddy came over on his book tour, saw him in London and Alex joined him. If they go anywhere outside of the Americas, it will surely include the UK. I think they would be a great option for a BST Hyde Park gig; although I think they prefer arenas.

Can’t see them doing outdoor ones, hope not hate them myself. If they come to Europe think it will be at most 2 UK arenas, possibly the COOP.

They did ok in Rio gents @OB1 @blueparrot ;-)

Did not see this Rush announcement coming at all. I'm glad Neil's widow and daughter have given their blessing and it will be a great tribute to Neil. If it goes well, I can definitely see them bringing the show over to the UK after Geddy's regret at not being able to bring R40 over here. Great choice of drummer too.

Yeah, Geddy mentioned that when we saw him on his book tour.

Fingers crossed.

I’ve been listening to a lot of Foreigner lately. Something I haven’t done for donkeys years.
Anyway they are back in vogue with me and I loved hearing the track “Stranger in my own house” again from Agent Provocateur.

Do like Foreigner, but always thought the 2 best Foreigner family albums are Lou Gramm solo album Ready or not and then the hard to track down album Shadow King the band with Vivian Cambell on guitar is maybe the best thing he ever did.
edit just checked Discogs, not that hard to find lets say overlooked album.

Pleased that they're back on the road while they still have time. Got quite a few records of theirs from back in the day but unfortunately I never got to see them live. Hopefully next month I'll be seeing a tribute act which will be the next best thing.

I have a Gramm solo album that is pretty good; can’t recall title and too lazy to look right now.

Don’t know Shadow King so may have to check that out.

Big fan of the albums through to 4. Saw them a few times with Gramm and once without.

Rush dates have already been doubled up due to demand so more hopeful than ever of UK dates.

Try the Shadow King you won't be dissapointed, saw them live their one and only gig at the Astoria.
