Great news I think, not only for the fact that it shows that rich powerful people cant just decide they want something, and get their way.

But also it puts a real focus on peace in Gaza being sustainable. If 12 months down the line there still is peace in Gaza there will be a fair argument that he deserves next years award.

I would have thought, given all the unexpected things that have happened in the last decade, that no sensible and rational person would predict any such thing with any degree of certainty.
