Who in your opinion epitomises "Mr Manchester City?"

Bobby Manc … had his faults but we all did at the time, set us a new path what turned out to be our turn in destiny and after the shit we’ve all gone through it was our turn ,
Made the biggest promise in a city fans history when said he’ll take that banner down which he did !! Not only took it down but ripped it to shreds.
Bobby Manc got us and we got him.
The blokes a legend for me.

Has to be this man. What he did for decade after decade out of the limelight.

Someone else, and she's not a man, Anna Connell, look her up. Without her, City wouldn't exist.
Bernard Halford?

Oldham fan
Swales supporter
Presided over a ticket office that makes today’s seem positively world class
Couldn’t give a toss about the fans

Not sure he was a Latics fan but he was club secretary there for a long time.
I know someone who was a "regular" season ticket holder (ie. over 5 years) and had one season without an ST due to working on Saturdays. She changed jobs after less than a year and instead of losing one year as an ST holder she had to go back to being a first year ST holder. When she questioned it she was told it was on Halford's instructions.
It was chaos getting tickets for Wembley 99 and the play-off at Wigan, and all on his watch.
I've still got the scarf they City on seats at an away game (Fulham?) after he passed away though.

I know this one is easy enough to argue if you were so inclined, but Andy Morrison.

I would say that theres a very good chance we aren't the machine we are these days without that fella, and for that he'll always be my favourite blue.
Galvanised the team in 98/9 and brought some much needed leadership and toughness. Who knows where we would be if we hadnt gone up in 99. A huge lasting contribution in a fairly small number of appearances.
See him on match days sometimes heading to corporate areas.

You're gonna be lucky if you can find any likely real candidate for that title who actually lives within the city limits, other than Pep or Bernardo of course, and both are foreign/haven't been here all that long ...... most candidates will probably either live, or did live somewihere in Greater Manchester or Cheshire ...... Bernard Halford possibly a decent shout, don't know where he lived though!
Bernard lived on Warwick Road in Failsworth

Non-player, has to be Pete the badge. Travelled the world alone, devoted, god knows how much money he's spent, all dressed up in his beloved sky blue. I realise there has been many fans presnt and past just as devoted but probably not as iconic.

I have been told my quite a few that he was an Oldham fan but don’t have proof. He also presided over the fiasco of Wigan play off away tickets. He was basically, imho, a club secretary for a very long time, that doesn’t necessarily make him a good one, or a good Blue
