The Beatles' Red Album; 1962-66.

I’m pretty sure it was £4.99 in WH Smith in Truro.

After that, it was A Night At The Opera by Queen, though not until two years after its release in 1977.

Bit unfair really - everyone on the plane should have been condemned to certain death to safe your feelings. ;-)

Not really sure what tasks you can't undertake if you are physically able.........
Agree, they should put a 50kg girl there who is too busy on tick tock to open the door.

This is such a great thread, i preferred the much simpler life of our childhoods , it is something we should cherish, there was a lot of hardships but i wouldn't have wanted it any other way, it is great all the pictures you are posting, i had angel delight ice cream a couple of weeks ago from asda, i let it melt a lot before i ate it, it was so lush

I just realised it is my birthday soon and i will be 65, this year i spent my birthday bring reborn in intensive care so i don't think i can top that!

It only seems the other day i was turning 50, how the hell did i get so old! Time seems to fly by so fast when you are hurdling towards the end lol

Mine was Hot Buttered Soul by an up and coming guy called Isaac Hayes. It’s stood the test of time too as I still listen to it - contained only 4 songs and 2 were cover versions of Walk On By and By The Time I Get To Phoenix, and they’re as superb now as they were back then.
