Their only weakness is that collectively as a group they have not won it before and if they do come under pressure in Feb/Mar then they might crack.Having said Liverpool will run away with it, I am now ruling them out. It will be a topsy turvy one this year and could go anywhere. It all depends upon whether Arsenal have it in them to do what we used to and win a ton of games in a row. I haven't watched much of the scousers this season, none in fact. Obviously seen their results though. I'm not ruling them out just yet, but your assertion could well be correct if you've watched some of their matches. Not sure Arsenal could keep this up all season and it feels like we've got a couple of gears to go up. Like I have said Arsenal will have a level of pressure on them like we will have probably never seen before in this league. To finish 2nd 3 times on the bounce combined with the money spent during artetas tenure they simply have to win it.
And I have seen nothing to suggest that their group of players can cope with that level of pressure. Their only way out is to do what Liverpool did last season and be out of sight by the new year.

Arsenal have Saka, Eze, Madueke, Odegaard, Martinelli. Which one of those is Cherki getting in ahead of?IMO, the whole post offers a fairly good analysis.
Two other potential weaknesses. First, Arteta hasn't proved yet he is on Pep's level. Second, they don't have "magic" on the bench in the way we have Cherki.
I think (or hope) Cherki can offer more creativity than any Arsenal player and turn games in the last 15-20 minutes. Generally, we have more creativity in the squad and better strikers.

City have an astonishing striker, the best midfielder in the world, Foden is world class at his best and Donnarumma is also top class. But I don't think Arsenal's issue is creativity, nor is that City's strength. For me the reason I see City as a genuine shout is that in some key areas you have the best players in the world in those positions.

Liverpool are going to recover at some point. Salah is in decline but surely he's not as bad as he is currently playing. Isak will start scoring (he nearly did yesterday). heir fullbacks have really struggled but perhaps they will pick up. I thought Kerkez was a decent player. Perhaps they will begin to settle. I think Liverpool will though still concede goals so I would put them behind Arsenal.
Arsenal have the ability at set pieces to win games when they aren't playing well, and they don't concede many goals. They won at Fulham even when they weren't playing well. I think Arsenal do have the ability to get to 90 points plus where I am not sure that City do. We are going to have to improve to stay in this race imo. The good thing is that you can see ways where City might. Rodri should steadily improve. Marmoush may come in and add another source of goals. Reijnders and Cherki might add something.
City have got a very difficult game at Villa coming up which we need to navigate unbeaten.

Was that a match approach thing or simply a lack of creativity. Cherki’s ball in behind to Haaland for the chance in injury time that he fluffed was De Bruyne-esque.Cherki, in terms of creativity, is superior to any of your options. Of course, we are talking about potential here, because he hasn't played enough. But his talent re: first touch, vision and passing is huge.
Cherki's weakness is physicality. He isn't ready physically wise to press and help in defence as much as top PL players. But going forward he's exceptional. You'll see it soon enough, injuries permitting.
