10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Been around longer than that, replying to nerds like you got me banned a couple times. Now I just block and ignore. Bye.
Pep literally said in one of his press conferences that Cherki was now training again, but that they had to be careful with his hamstring as if it went again, it would mean months out and potential surgery.

You’re trying to create a narrative that doesn’t exist.

Why do we always have to make it a conspiracy theory when hes been out injured and it’s been intl break. We can start asking why Pep don’t trust him when it’s been months of him out and not starting. Can’t we ever just be excited for what we have and not always being negative??! We won comfortably yesterday remember

People should be a bit patient. Cherki is back from injury and I doubt he's ready to play more than 30 minutes. His cameo was very impressive but Everton were a bit tired at this point of the match.

He is likely to start in the league cup and then maybe Dortmund.

Looked very silky and smooth when he came on like nothing phases him. ....some sublime touches and inteplay

It will be interesting to see how Pep fits him into this team and whether we can play with both him and foden both on the pitch (there is a space for one of them outwide on the right but both are wasted there)....can they both play centrally as two number 10's.....it would place a hell of a lot of pressure on the number 6 (rodri or Gonzales).....

Cherki could start as RW and play half space in attack while Nunes push up as winger. Like Foden & Walker in 23/24 season.

Imagine if we signed Wirtz, we simply wouldn’t have these options. Cherki has so much potential

I think out of the two of them Cherki would be more effective outwide ...love it however if Pep can work out a way to play them both central however

Cherki is a wild card. So much potential. But he's had issues in his past that have limited his playing time under other managers.

It will be fascinating to see if Pep can get the best out of Cherki while overcoming the issues that past managers have decided not to feature him.

Agree with this. At the moment I have him down as a finisher rather than a starter, as I think his disruptive style is perfect for changing games. That said, I expect to see him rotating with other players and starting games very soon.

Great little cameo yesterday. You can just see that he oozes class. Got a great to chance to nail down a regular starting place now, given the indifferent form of Savinho and Bobb on the right-wing. Hope he starts on Tuesday.
He's got loads of talent. I have never seen a player who is as two footed as Cherki. I think Pep is right to bring him into games off the bench and eventually making that right hand side his own
