I'm amazed this government contract has been signed off and started in such a short space of time. It usually takes years to get something like this off the ground.

He's likely given the prime contract to someone as a 'favour' who will then sub-contract it out to the lowest bidder, then refuse to pay them.

He personally, or indirectly through the Trump Org or another third party will almost certainly be benefitting from this deal even if it's just favours in kind. Absolutely bent as fuck.

1) The govt shutdown is permanent

2) The shut down is by design to protect the executive indefinitely from Epstien files disclosure

3) WH East wing demo is cover for improving/ expanding the bunker underneath in preparation for when Shitler declares martial law

They need 60 votes but only have 50 odd republicans. The idea is to throw the other side a bone so a few will side with you on the vote but republicans refuse. Its all their stuff or nothing.

‘their stuff’ seems to be cutting healthcare to pay for tax cuts for the rich.

Yup. Precisely that.

They are literally trying to make out that Democrats are the bad guys for not getting on board with their 'fuck shit up for the little guy in favour of the rich guys massive tax break' spending plan.

Interestingly, only a week after the UK introduced the same sanctions. Wonder if anybody knew that?

Russia won't bother - US importing of Russian oil was banned by Biden in early 2022! Apparently some small amount creeps in through some loophole or another, but these 'sanctions' were probably arranged with Putin, as another sugar pill to delay everything for a while.

Can't believe that the BBC news reports (so far) aren't explaining the limited damage that these will do to Russia.

To be fair on newsnight they did mention that the new sanctions would have little effect.
