We played well, but several near meltdowns my side with the amount of sitters both of us could have scored after a Sunday Sesh. I thought we were going to fuck it up. Sone great play, created brilliant chances and it was harder to miss but we fucking managed it. I'm on a hair trigger right now, can't think why, so it made for a few outbursts of many sweary words. I have been tearing my gorgeous hair out at our performance level, speed of movement, terrible passing, everyone bottling it to take a man on, even pass forward. Horseshoe of death by boredom. I had zero faith we would put in a performance. Probably to protect myself. The first ten minutes we dtsrted well. But im thinking, this won't last. The cunts will crumble like pussies. They scored against the run of play, brilliant shot from the boy. A here we fucking go moment, but we stood up. I was shocked.
We lost AJ and Ianhacho then CCV. Kenny gets into great positions, but he's as much a striker, as I am a mild mannered pacifist. We need to bring Yamada in, because Kenny can't cut it.
Young Donovan is the real deal and thank fuck for that, as the alternative is Ralston. Our Academy, like yours, produces next to nothing. Right next. So great to see at least one young player who is a player. We get one every 10 years. Some return.
Away to Hearts now not as scary. We play like that and take our chances, we can win. Before last night, in the form we were in, we were getting a doing. We still could as Hearts are flying, its just not guaranteed now.
Its more a relief than happy. Still a way to go for top form, but that was so much much better, that even this grumpy old bastard would have to acknowledge.

I suppose if I had to pick a Scottish team it should be Celtic due to family reasons but I've never really cared either way. Although I did like Rangers when Ally Mccoist played for them. What I can't get my head round is Celtic not being able to cope with not winning every single year.

We want to improve every year. Or at least try to. We know how cruel football is and how nothing is guaranteed. We rightly believe, if we improve to be more competitive in Europe, the domestic side takes care of itself. We want to be better than we have been over the last 15 years in Europe. Qualifying and getting out of the league phase, is like getting to the semi for richer clubs to us. We know where we are. But, although we can't reach to the top of the mountain, we can go up a good bit from where we are. At least have the balls to give it a go. That's all we want. And there's nothing wrong with that.
