Cherki is an unbelievable talent. £100m player for £30m. We really dodged a bullet with Wirtz, and managed to get a much better player in the process. I love how he seeks the ball like we’ve seen Phil do by dropping deep. He just wants to make a difference.

I think Cherki and Marmoush need to be in the main starting 11 going forward, along with Nico G.

Donnarumma, Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly, Nico G, Bernardo, Foden, Cherki, Marmoush and Haaland.

The rest on the bench to come on as and when needed/play themselves into the team.

Cherki clear winner. He’ll be even better when he improves his decision making. I didn’t think he should have played that long ball in the build up to his goal but Josko got him out of jail and set up a goal that his performance deserved.
