Martinez completely killed their confidence, they were creating good chances in the first half, they never came back from the dressing room after his fuck up.
 
Never doubted the result today. Villa are bang average, you just need a competitive midfield to see them off, pur loss was purely fown to Peps shit tactics. Dippers will cause us all manner of problems and look like world beaters next week too unless pep deviates from what has been his primary approach to games in recent weeks

That left side was their weak spot, everytime they played it there that was it they were in trouble. So what does the arrogant knob do? Yes, play it out there.

We haven't beaten the dippers, Arsenal or any top European club for over two years now, we better end that next week.
 
Everyone knows the Dippers struggle against long, direct balls. Even Slot said it. It negates their press.

That's exactly what I thought all game, and it's exactly why Emery will never be a top manager, tactically naive far too many times.

Agreed but we have got to worry about the very real possibility of losing tomorrow first. If we don't solidify the midfield, bournemouth are going to show us up on our own patch.

United are the only side in the top half of the table that we've beaten this season.
