He really is not worth bothering about. Sad man looking for something dramatic, thinking people will think he’s an intelligent journalist. He’s neither intelligent nor a decent journalist. He’s got no real beliefs & needs clicks - so goes controversial just for effect.

The club is right in not challenging him - because that’s what he’s aiming for so it promotes his name.

Titles wise I’d presume both the same because that’s all it can be! They’ve never competed for the league together like we have with Liverpool

And this is the narrative being pushed that will become fact without anyone actually checking it out,that it was nip and tuck between the two teams hoovering up all the trophies especially league titles and league cups..

Well technically it is their derby, it's the Dublin derby and I don't mean that tongue in cheek either it genuinely is.

Preparing the lunch earlier and passing the TV I saw a little coven of journalists moaning about the fact that every word Rooney says at the moment becomes a headline. The ever brilliant Jonathan Liew said “why am I getting updates in my feed about his latest utterances?” ARE THEY THAT FUCKING STUPID?????? It’s you red shirt, brown nosing wankers that have; a) created this scenario, and b) constantly perpetuate it. The ONLY people not allowed to bitch about it are YOU the journalists.
 
When Rooney was becoming the all time record goalscorer for the rags was he at any time reported as "papering over the cracks"
I hope by never buying a newspaper I am helping to accelerate towards the day they become obsolete.

I did laugh when briefly watching the Sunday supplement and they were discussing (hoping for) peps retirement. How ironic that they don't realise it is they who have become obsolete , while trying to convince themselves that Pep is past his sell by.
