Fantasy Premier League - 2025/26 | Official BlueMoon League + Cup

Apart from Haaland there's not one premium player or anyone priced much more than 8M in the midfield and forward position's screaming buy me.
And I don't plan on cashing out in the MID either, but that's not to say you're going to like who I'm leaning towards either! ;-)

Normally that extra 2M would come in really handy but having some decent rotation options is the path I've gone down for now. I do hate a benching dilemma though, I've currently got Eze first sub away at Sunderland which seems madness, but it's a mixture of minutes, and who's on penalties that swayed me.
Yeah, but with some players back, his minutes seem a bit at risk, so I'd bench Eze over Semenyo too.
I'd really like to bench Semenyo at villa but if he gets a haul it's going to be painful, I don't want to take that risk.
I think Semenyo is a great shout at Villa too. I've got lots of options in playing a back 4 too, so that will make the MID/FWD benchings ever harder coming up.

I guess when it comes down to it, having a playing 8th attacker to me over the Dec fixtures is worth more than overpaying for a MID when there's going to be UCL and EPL midweek rotation that month.

I think I know who you are going for. I like the look of the dipper who's name I can't spell from GW12, but I'm hanging on for possibly a City midfielder in GW13 if he keeps impressing, and going double Arsenal defence in the same move.

You're in luck with Semenyo and Kudus, their countries haven't qualified. Just had a look at your squad and you have zero AFCON players currently. The group games start the 21st December.
I hadn't checked (obviously!), but I'd assumed that Ghana would have qualified. They're usually one of the more powerful African nations, I think. Along with Senegal, the Ivory coast, Cameroon, Egypt and Algeria. That's a bonus. As I said though, I'm toying with the idea of shifting Kudus on anyway. Possibly for Phil.

You get your transfers topped up to five (max) free transfers to deal with the AFCON tournament (after GW15)

Doesn't matter how many xfers you have banked previously and you can use them on any player from GW16 onwards or you can carry them (xfers) forward.
So; if I'm reading you correctly (which isn't a given!), there's no restrictions on those extra FTs (ie, you can only transfer out players going to AFCON)?

Ffs.

I've got 3x arse defence and also cpt Gabriel.
I have 3 too, so not going to be a great week for me.

Wouldn't have minded them conceding if it meant Arsenal would have lost/drawn but now looks like they'll win, so a double pisser.

Edit: I can live with losing the points from my defenders knowing that Arsenal didn't win ;-)

18 points (including bonuses) from 5 players. Think Saka has 14 pts SI; 9 for the 90 minutes, 3 bonus pts and two DC points?
They add the defcon points during the game Jim. So the 9 points are 5 for a goal, 2 for playing 60 minutes, and 2 for defcon, plus 3 bonus is 12.

A handy score in what could be a low scoring week. I'm on 22 points from just 4 players, A Sanchez clean sheet for 6 points being the other decent contribution.

I'm not saying my FPL season has been absolutely awful but can you guess where I transferred Joao Pedro into my team and when I transferred him out?

I had Pedro all season but finally ran out of patience after the Sunderland game. I did get the early season returns though so shouldn't complain too much, but I do hate him with a passion, this stretches back to last season.

I'm guessing you brought him in for the rags game, and sold at the same time as me :(

Thanks for the clarification. So; 17 pts from 5 players, 3 of them defensive who only scored a single point apiece. Cheers Sunderland!

Only two points from Caicedo, thanks to his yellow card. I was hoping for better from him, considering they were playing Wolves. An assist, maybe a goal?
The overall stats show Caicedo has outperformed his xA and xG this season. I'm not saying he isn't capable of getting them because obviously he has, but the rush of FPL managers bringing him in droves this past week far exceeded what he's realistically capable of offensively. I will not be partaking there, and yes, that is a hill I'm prepared to die on in FPL this year.

He's great for DEFCON, but against a weaker Wolves team that doesn't hold possession, that's going to be a tough ask there. He was 3 off the 12 needed yesterday.

I'm more upset that Enzo hasn't delivered in the 3 weeks that I've brought him back for these easy fixtures, and JP got a goal essentially handed to him yesterday in front of the net.

The ideal games were going to be today, so yes, while scores are low, the potential of today is still there for many. We shall see...

If ARSE were going to give up 2, it would have been nicer had they lost for the overall EPL standings, but I'll take that late SUN goal given the damage had already been done, and their first goal was quite the strike!

To be fair, he's the highest points scorer at Chelsea so far this season (60).Yes, I know; the amount of chopping and changing Maresca does, it wouldn't be difficult for Caicedo to top that table, given he's one of the very few Chelsea players that play in most of their games. Him and the bog brush.

Correct, I'm just betting on that not to continue. We shall see.

And I'm not getting VDV's 23 either.
I've got both of them in my XI! VDV is Spurs' leading scorer, apparently!

*edit* equal top scorer...

used my free hit this week, 3 arse defenders, 2 palace including Mateta and 3 Chavs, absolute shocker of a week, 27 points with just Alfies lad to play. The only success has been Pedro as captain, first time I've gone away from the viking all season. I'm hoping that success turns to a failure and he bags a hat trick
