Not my comfort zone, but I’ve checked out, best I could, the libels laws of the UK and Florida and I’d say a claim by Trump in either jurisdiction was completely without merit.

Nope, where did I ever suggest all of that?! I said that Shah and some of the other board members clearly disagreed with his opinion and Prescotts findings. They quite clearly aren’t nodding dogs, that would make no sense at all.

No idea, I’m not sure what point you’re arguing there in relation to what I put? I have no idea why the board didn’t act sooner. Davie, people can read into his comments since resigning what they want.

Why do you think they both resigned ? Even when they begged him to stay, why do you think Davie resigned ? Could it possibly be that they knew they had fucked up and had known about the fuck up for several months and done nothing about it ? That's why they resigned - not because of the perceived excessive influence of one board member that you continually keep going on about.

I haven’t once suggested they resigned because of Gibbs, why are you making up that I have?! I don’t even think he’d have wanted Davie to resign.

What I said about Gibbs is someone with his political background and him being a proponent of GB News means he shouldn’t be anywhere near the bbc board.

I don’t understand how anyone that would want the bbc to be the best version of themselves and truly impartial would disagree with that.

That and people seem to be not even questioning who leaked the letter to the Telegraph, given it was sent to a very select group of people in the first place.
