Not this year, no, but last year, around 70,000 (actually, that's all opioid-related deaths, so not all were from fentanyl).

Hegseth claims that every fishing boat they blow up saves 25,000 lives - that's about 3 boats' worth, then.

That's mostly my point - they keep quoting last year (and Patel claimed over 100k); how much has that reduced is surely relevant?

I'm not surprised that they're not just quoting fentanyl.

And Hegseth is basically a GI Moron. Which everyone knows!

it needs to apologise, it fucked up and it was deliberate
no defamation claim by Trump would be successful for at least three reasons
publicity-wise, it's a win-win for Trump, esp in light of Democrats drip-drip Epstein file

An apology isn’t necessarily acquiesce.

I’ve previously posted that the BBC needs to apologise. What I’m referring to is them changing their approach to Trump because of this fuck up. That’s acquiescence.

Except fentanyl doesn’t come from Venezuela. So they’re not really stopping it. They’re putting a dent in Don Jrs fun though.
