The Labour Government

Wherever it came from it was enough for Starmer to apologise to Streeting

And so he should, that was so ridiculous that you wonder if some in his team are working for the other side.

If you think the BBC are bad, Ferrari's opening question to Miliband on the announcement of the first modular reactor:

"How exactly does a nuclear reactor work" FFS.

Given the number of gaffs and the shit comms from this government it has crossed my mind more than once. More likely just a number of people incompetent at their job behind the scenes though.

Sloppy attempt at trying to trip him up I suspect. Who gives a fuck how they work so long as the people putting them in know and they don’t blow up!!!

It’s actually a decent story this one. Hopefully the first of many and British people and business stop paying higher energy costs than our neighbours. Good for the country, good for jobs IMHO.

Seen a little of the interview on Sky and they allowed him to speak and praised the move in their after-chat.

This move is good for our country and should be debated as so. But the likes of LBC will always take a contrarian view, it suits their listeners.

I'm gonna phone in and ask Fat Ferrari exactly how a microphone and headphones work.

Well certainly their listeners from 0700-1000. After that it gets a bit more balanced.

Another apology….

They’re choking the economy. More tax rises will just make it worse, they need to address spending instead, unfortunately the party just won’t let them do what is right.
There’s absolutely nothing left to cut, that’s why even the Tories admitted that we are at a precipice WRT public services. Infrastructure falling down, the justice system collapsing, Defence on its arse, so on, son. There’s very little left to cut and we need to rectify it before it is too late.

The complete inadequacy of all politicians for the last 10 years (maybe more) will be studied by future generations. The complete hash that's been made of two significant majorities in the last 5 years is astounding really. I'm no fan of Boris Johnson who ultimately dug his own grave, but at least he had COVID as an excuse. Starmer and Reeves seem to be remarkably unsuited for the job..

This is from someone who's always been a left leaving centrist too, so you'd imagine they'd be right up my street.

How was C19 an excuse for the Pincher affair, partys, selling the nation a Brexit pup, appointing the son of a KGB to the House of Lords.....?

Start with the millions who believe the state owes them a living without having to work.
I’d start with the employers who believe the state should pay half of their employees wages.
To be fair that’s effectively what they did with the increase in employers NI, and the employers haven’t stopped squealing about it since.

Not at all. I said I'm no fan of his at all and I think he was particularly unsuited to the job. I probably should have been clearer - he was terrible.

The point I'm trying to make is that Starmer and Reeves seem to be creating their own traps and they're making an absolute shit show of a huge opportunity

The state doesn’t pay anyone’s wages at our firm part or otherwise, why did we get lumbered with the NI increase, which made sure we didn’t employ anymore people.
