Atmosphere Thread | 2025/26

Really weird take by Brewin. It was really good today, I took a Scouser friend with me to SS3 (I know, sorry), he was genuinely impressed with the atmosphere, the constant signing, how loud and passionate our supporters were. He had clearly been buying to stuff like this in the media, mainly on Twitter. "Funny" memes etc.

I've never really bought Into the idea of a Guardian agenda against City, but that's a super weird post by Brewin. Maybe justifiable on other occasions (like it is in many grounds)... but not today. Posting it just highlights something......
He probably wasn't even there

How many rats in our end today cb3 good job they had fuck all to cheer
A few in NS upper and lower. When Liverpool scored the disallowed goal, 2 dippers (no colours) jumped up. Stewards quick on the scene. They denied being dipper fans, when asked by the stewards why they cheered, they both said they thought it was City who scored !
Removed for their own safety

Random one, but what was the DJ thinking at the end with that sped up remix of love will tear us apart!

What a way to kill the moment that was, people were desperate to join in but the tempo was way to fast!
It was awful and killed the atmosphere. Just put hey Jude on or bluemoon.

Or just play the original song

That remix of ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ is fucking dreadful!

Just play the original version, it’s arguably the greatest ever song by a Manchester band.

Always play "Hey Jude" against the Scousers.
They'll be fuming that a Merseyside song has been taken and adopted by Manchester City fans
Always remember that "One Step Beyond" was immediately played after a City victory against Chelsea.
The Chelsea fans were going bonkers...

There was a game when they robbed us and Mourinho was dancing on our dugout to that song at the end. We’ve played it to them ever since.
