Match discussion - United (H) - Saturday 15 November K.O. 13:30

Very good first half from us with three nicely taken goals. Hemp's was a lovely strike, great to see us shooting when we had the chance.

They never really troubled us, even after the second half changes which improved them. For all the press comments of them looking tired, they didn't to me. We were just better, we had the better chances throughout the whole game and really could have won by more. It was a surprise really as I thought we might find it a tough game.

Miedama was outstanding, such an intelligent footballer and Jade Rose is getting better each game, she was great today, very impressive. An all round very good team performance, every one worked hard.

As for Skinner, he is an unpleasant little man who has always had a few disparaging comments to say about us.

Of course the pre-assist too. Quite possible, when she's in her full flow (and if she stays beyond this contract, fingers crossed) she'll be in the 'future capt' chatter.

Agreed Bigga , she was player of the match for me too.
 
Commentator really tried making silk purses out of sows ears whenever the ragettes put a couple of passes together and classic muted response to the goals. The cocomm is a proper bitter, one of many in the media. Steph Houghton spoke well.
 
That was a fun day out . No poznan but a mexican wave which went round a few times , stopping at the away end each time of course .

As for the match we bossed them and , apart from their completely unproductive spell of possession towards the end of the first half , they never settled . I had expected the rags to be all thump, kick and run but they seemed to want to play football yesterday . Jess Parks ineffective. Great team effort for us but Hempo and Fujino on the wings are tireless in their pressing and can harry full backs for fun . The corner for the first goal came out of that . Very impressed with Rose at the back , very calm and great positioning.

Let's hope for a Gareth Taylor miracle today .
 
We were lucky enough to be sat in Tunnel Club Premier for this and managed to get up into Corporate after the game.
My daughter met about 90% of the players and got her Kerolin and Hemp shirts signed by both players. She got pictures with most of them as well - massive shout outs to -

Hemp - as always she was amazing with the kids. A proper role model.
Casparji and her girlfriend - her girlfriend spotted we were waiting for a picture and got Kerstin's attention for us. Both seemed really nice.
Bunny - she was just about to start eating when my daughter went over, but she spoke to my daughter for a bit and had a picture which we really appreciated.
Knaak was lovely as was Viv.
Yui - as always great
Aoba - she was patient with us when taking the pic which we appreciated

All in all a great day!
