Can a ref make such a suggestion in a competitive game?Yes, I did know that. My point was that that was not worthy of the ultimate sanction. A strong final warning would have done
And maybe a suggestion to the captain that a substitution might be in order.

A bit of a mad game Greece vs Scotland. Adams has to be just about the worst CF playing international football, he's beyond wank. Not sure why they took the right winger off that late in the game when you're chasing a goal, he was a threat all game.
