Fucking wild shit going on now RE Epstein.

We're already seeing key MAGA figures such as MTG and LB depart from unwavering support for Trump. For such as these, the political calculation is that uncovering the truth behind Epstein outweighs loyalty to Trump.

I'm not sure how this will ultimately turn out - Trump is complicit in at least knowing what Epstein was up to - and perhaps engaged in underage sex per the statements from Michael Wolff (although his credibility is in question).

At any rate, there's at least a glimmer of hope that MAGA is on the road to implosion.

Anyone who looks the other way and tries to cover up or ignore what happened with Epstein is now complicit. Congress, The Supreme Court if they don’t do anything it makes the American public complicit for allowing this to happen.

If Congress can be invaded by MAGA knuckle draggers in 2021 because they didn’t like an election result. This now is a very valid reason for the American public to go in there and ask questions of the policy makers in DC.

For any serious politician, the mere fact that they'd been around Epstein for so long (even if there was ZERO doubt about them having done nothing illegal personally) would cast sufficient doubt upon their judgement as to render them politically ineffective.

Look at how long it took for Mandelson to be shown the door. We shan't see him again.

But even if they should unearth 4k videos of Trump in the middle of the most disgustingly depraved acts, with some young girl wearing an Ivanka mask, there would still be millions of MAGA shouting 'Clinton did stuff, too!' or similar.

The best hope is that the 20m or so of registered voters who inexplicably chose not to vote last time, have woken up.

IMO that's not where hope lies. These so-called registered non-voters don't care. They're unlikely to vote in the future.

What's causing the massive decline in support for Trump is instead the swing voter, the casual Republican voter and those who are getting totally fucked by Trump's policies. This demographic actually shows up and votes - and they are now either mildly against Trump or fucking hate his guts.

It's never going to happen but can you imagine Trump in the witness box being cross examined by a switched on British Barrister. Knowing Trump he would probably say for a Barista you seem to know a lot about the law

Emily Maitlis did get to interview him in Trump Tower - I think before his first Presidential campaign.

He was clearly taken aback by her not being impressed by all the bling, and it ended up with him terminating the meeting prematurely when he didn't like the way the questions were heading...

Maga is all but finished. Maga realising that their politicians actually put israel and not america first, along with the epstein files (also israel related), and israel dragging them into wars with iran and continuing to take billions in foreign aid from america have killed it.

I don't like Trump - and you have to be careful how you phrase things on social media these days.
But in this case the BBC have been caught with their pants down. Whoever chose to edit those 2 clips together didn't make a "mistake" (which I'm sick of hearing in this instance) it was intentional - the clue is in the word EDIT.
The BBC is a farce these days, and imho shouldn't have it's license renewed
