Albania v England - Sun 16th Nov, 17:00 | World Cup Qualifier

That's why I'd say keep it to that approach, rather that than him start out of position.
Hes been out if it too much. He’ll have to make do as a squad player but keep being consistent in any opportunity he’s given. Just like today, don’t try and force it, just play your game. He was really solid when he came on. Found the pockets and kept the ball moving.

Fantastic to win every game and not concede a single goal, regardless of the opposition. Albania and Serbia give everyone games at home and is why prior to getting by us they both hadn't lost at home for a long time.

O'Reilly is mustard. Wharton, who I'm a big fan of, didn't have his best game but he wasn't helped at all by the tactics in the first half that meant Stones was often picking up the ball where he likes to pick it up. Burn is basically a worse version of Maguire.

If I was picking our best 11 tomorrow for the WC it would be this:

Pickford

James
Stones
Konsa
O'Reilly

Anderson
Rice

Foden

Saka
Rashford

Kane

Bellingham is a massively gifted footballer and a match winner on his day, but he's also a bit individual. I can't help but think we would function better as a team without him starting. And it's all about the team, not individuals.

Foden is much better than Rodgers but I’d have Rodgers in purely for the way we played with that 11 on ten pitch. Foden first sub if it’s not working.

Genuinely enjoyed a couple of the England games for the first time in years with no egos on the pitch. Think Rodgers deserves his place.

Nico was great and would have had the assist of the intl break if Saka had finished it off. Stones class as always but I dont know why he’s never subbed. Phil looked really sharp and put a shift in but he was playing too deep to score imo so the narrative will be that he failed to impress.

Bellingham PR just turning everyone against him so not working is it. He was genuinely not good tonight but could take a dump in the box and he’d be applauded for his movement
That ball by Nico wasn't even mentioned

Wheres Ballon O'Dor saka

Hopefully Kane beats Shilton's appearance record, Shilton must have got 30 extra caps when he was dogshit and completely finished

Don’t where Bellingham is any good?! I thought he be a good Rice replacement in that role but his passing isn’t good enough! The 8 maybe is his best position because he loses the ball he has a bit of cover! Don’t might just tell him he is a super sub like foden will be!

Andersen we should be all over him! There rumours that he is off to the rags we can’t let him go there!
Not realistic unless Rodders is leaving in the summer.

Listened to Tuchel intervies on tS, finally we have a manager who really knows what he is doing.

I think we pretty much know the first eleven, unfortunately Phil is not among them, but John and Nico definitely are.

Didn't realise Bellingham had a hissy fit about being subbed off. What a selfish prick if it's true. He may be a decent player but he seems to be an odious character and it backs up some of what I've heard from guys who work within the Arsenal coaching setup and what the England International Arsenal players have said about him.

Ireland were poor and got through because Hungary froze and could not manage the game, England were Rolls Royce in comparison!
I'd hope so.
There's a fair difference in populations and the popularity of sports in each country.
I'm surprised you're not comparing the All blacks rugby team with the Popes Vatican first XV.

Stones and Guehi at CB? With Konsa as 1st replacement? Issue is we don't have much depth after that - someone like Dan Burn will get spitroasted by France or Spain's attack.

Yeah I doubt Foden will be in the 1st XI but can come on and do a job. O'Reilly's spot to lose I reckon.
