Going back further

And the amount of fawning pieces from all the football media who went to Russia - after Crimea, the Donbas, Chechenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Trans Nistra etc, had occurred/occuring …

It’s surprising how hung up people are on the legal niceties of the “Genocide” label. I’m sure the poor victims are not concerned by such nuance. Why not just call it slaughter. Because that’s what it is. I think politicians like to hide behind the Genocide debate and the lawyers keep making money. Slaughter is a more accurate label.

He's a liability. Yes he's a good player on his day, but, as well as it having to be all a out him, and the risk that has on squad morale, there is also his on pitch lack of discipline. He pretty much does and goes where he wants, that could be OK, except he often loses the ball in dangerous positions and is rash in his attempts to resolve those situations. Why do England (and our media) always seem to want figure like this e.g. him, Beckham, Rooney etc...
