33 | Nico O'Reilly - 2025/26

Nothing ever seems to phase him, never seems high or low, just gets on with it. You don’t see that often, especially at City. He can go as far as he wants to go, and he should be looking to get 10-15 goals a season, he’s always attacking the box late and just needs to be a little more composed, which will come with the games. Absolute one off.

Watching him these past two games for England I was thinking the same. How is this 20 year so relaxed? Like he's playing with his mates in a pickup game. So hard to get by him and if ya do there's no getting away...

I don’t like bragging but I said 2 years ago that he was the business

Obviously, I didn’t see this coming but bloody hell - realistically, what tests are left for him to pass? United at home, Liverpool at home, Arsenal away, international level etc. He’s going to be out Gareth Bale - he’ll score 10 goals next season

The only test now is consistently and recovering from the inevitable bad form and mistakes that are normal in young players developments

I'd actually play Ait Nouri in the next game purely to give Nico a rest. He's already played over 1,300 minutes for club & country so far this season and looked gassed at the end of the liverpool game.

Agree with resting him before RAN goes to afcon but I'd do it after Newcastle away. They're not great this season but at home they've been ok. After Newcastle we hit a favourable run of fixtures.

Watching the game last night just to see how Nico did, he look like a player getting his 100 cap not his second. Truly intelligent footballer who is composed and consistent
Late on he was caught upfield and had to sprint back to catch his opponent, did he dice in? No he did exactly the right thing, getting past him and closing the space, he even was praised by Gooner Dixon

The extravagant flick which should have resulted in a goal for sackashit was never replayed or commented on by the studio pundits.Does make you wonder particularly with Wright banging the Skelly drum, never changed over the years with them promoting their ex clubs players and I include us in that. This Lad looks good atm.

said it last season when he come in to side he will be an all time great for us think he is unbelievable
His "ceiling" (not even sure what that term refers to in football) is wherever he wants to set it.
Great ability is one thing, attitude is something you can't teach
Could easily have just said "nope I'm a midfielder" and sat on the bench/in the stands

Bringing it back, thought Nico has done a great job for England over the last two games.
However Nico do not overlap Rashford as the pass wont come back ;-)

What length contract is he on now? Whatever it is fucking double it and throw in brand new Ford Fiesta for good measure
This lad is gold.
