Watching the Germany game, and seeing Sane in the German side. Just wondering if he's really pushed on in his career after leaving us. Yes; he's won a load of Bundesliga titles with Bayern. But let's be honest; that's akin to winning the Scottish title with Celtic. Has he flattered to deceive at Bayern? He was brilliant for us in the Centurions season. But, from memory, his performances tailed off a bit the following season, and he was on the bench a few times that season.

He was amazing to watch, but didn’t listen to tactical instruction and wasn’t the best at doing his defensive duties. Bit of a mard arse by all accounts too.
That might not have mattered as much if he’d carried on scoring and assisting as he did in his City prime, but it seems his goal output wasn’t consistent enough to mask his tactical deficiencies.
