i've just worked out who I think the other City/Wolves player is who won a PL medal. Very devious and I won't spoil it. But if you want a clue, he was a City player but never played for us. And he won the medal at another club.

I also remember the connection with Umbro goes back many years and that John Humphries was on the board during the Swales era. I think the logo was on the 1974 and 1976 League Cup final shirts but don't remember it on the 1969 FA Cup Final shirts or the 1970 League Cup so I'm going for 1971.

But the LC final against Wolves was 1973/74 and I'm pretty sure it was on the shirt for that game.

Edit: I just checked some pictures and it was. In fact it was on both teams' shirts.

I had it in my head that it was on the shirt when the North Stand opened in 1972, which is why I went for 1971.
