We were architects of our own downfall, too many good chances passed up and we let it be such an open game which gave them good chances.

Two really shite goals to concede.

Ref was awful.

Dust ourselves off and get on with it Tuesday. Thank fuck the internationals are a long way off.

If we’d put our shooting boots on we’d have come away with at least a point.

Linesman should have flagged before they scored second as they were at least 6" offside. Both replays afterwards showed it was clearly offside. 5 mins later they simulated it with AI technology to try and justify it wasn't a pen which was absolute contrived bollocks.

The PL want Arse n' hole to win the league this season because they hate us with a passion!

VAR is bent beyond belief and it has cost us yet again!

Outmuscled but ref was dodgy. Tonali 5 snide fouls resulting in no yellow card. Bobb accidentally clips him and instant yellow.Guimaires looked offside on tv pics but lo and behold some cartoon representation pops up and goal is given .
 
A fair scoreline would’ve been something like 3–3. The match went downhill the moment we failed to put away that first chance — Haaland in the 3rd minute. I don’t think we came into the game with a clear enough head, and we were playing a gear lower. If we’d had the same tempo from the first minute as we did from about the 30th to half-time, we’d have won it.


The absurd bit is that Barcodes scored two goals from completely impossible situations that didn’t look like goals at all. The second one was offside on top of everything. And the first was even more unbelievable — a totally harmless situation. A dead ball that O’Reilly just plays straight into their feet.

It was fucking bent mate, no doubt about it. Same with the clear foul on Foden for the non penalty. There was a case for a red card too for that.
 
As poor as City were in the 2nd half, what another bent bunch of officials. 3 penalties not given and Newcastle are allowed to have an offside goal. Bent bastards yet again.

PS does anyone want to tell me what the point of Savinho is?
