Sounds about right

Fucking rubbish. Again. As always. Offers zero and that timid pass on the corner epitomises everything about him. Lazy and lacklustre.

I've never been his biggest fan and have been quite criticial but I don't feel like it's fair to judge him at the moment when he's clearly got zero confidence, I have no idea why Pep brought him on. It's like a cornerman sending his clearly concussed, bleeding boxer back into the ring to get pummelled.

He should get taken out of the team until we're 2/3-0 up and comfortable, or in the cup games, let him play himself back into things.

What I will say is that if he somehow makes it through this into being a successful player than he's got a lot of mental fortitude because he looks broken.

Look, this looks like a bit of a pile-on, and I never like them and try to keep a distance. But whatever else can be debated about him, this one simple fact is not debatable: the guy has the most incredible difficulty simply getting the shot on target. I mean, just making the keeper work a bit. And they're not shots that shave the woodwork.

Finding it so strange that he gets regular game time for us. He is hard to watch.
It is now beginning to look farcical that we didn’t sell him to Tottenham for £70m because we’d be lucky to get half of that for him now.

He is the worst finisher in world football. Possibly the worst finisher I’ve ever seen from a forward. How he got all those goals at Girona I will never know.

How did we allow a new contract for him ???? He clearly wants to go

His agent probably looked at us turning down big money from Spurs and rocked up at Viana's office and said if you are turning upwards of £70m down, then pay him like a £70m footballer.

We shot ourselves in the foot with that one.

Should be first out the door in January for me. Doesn't even look Championship quality.

The hatred directed to towards him is vile, crystal clear that a fair few have found their scapegoat.

That wasn't a good cameo at all, go down the line and get the ball in every fucking time when need a goal. We dont need a grealish-esque masterclass of cutting back and going square. He put in 1 very good ball and did nothing else in 20 minutes, criticism is fair but the comments on here would suggest he is solely responsible for that defeat.

No proof that Spurs offered 70m in the first place and with that tight arse that was in charge, I very much doubt they offered anywhere near that tbh.

I would have snapped your hand off for that offer if true.

They never offered that, that's what City wanted.

Spurs offered £45m + add ons from what I read on the Spurs forums, and were not prepared to better it.

Either way, we should have took that deal.
