If he’d been just a bit more switched on, he could’ve had two goals — and Cherki could’ve had two assists. As it is, they’re both being judged as having had dreadful games. Fine margins.

I think he's back physically, he's just not in great form. If you're gonna compare him to his best ever level it's probably going to be a while. He was also very clearly fouled in the first half, if we get that penalty I don't think anyone's that upset by his performance.

Think that was easily the worst he's played all season. Should have taken the chance in the first half, touch was off a few times and just didn't get involved enough. I do wish he'd drive at teams more, so often he'll get the ball deep and pass it sideways, or receive a bit further forwards and send it back where it has come from instead of taking it on the half turn and running at the defence. Almost like he doesn't trust his ability to go past opponents.

No his performance tonight was very consistent with his form this season, absolutely brilliant at the Etihad and absolutely dogshite away frome home, nothing in between.

He doesn't beat people
He doesn't carry the ball
He doesn’t get his head up and stretch play
He only goes wide to tika taka and go backwards
Can't use his right foot
Can't win a duel even if heavily in his favour
Can't play wing


Everything has to be tailored to him, for him to be effective...
Only so long you can keep doing the same thing over and over again and it keep coming off. Never reaching those 23/24 season level again.
