The closest point of the body to the goal line that can’t be handball.excuse my ignorance but where should it be drawn from?

That one still pisses me offCraig Pawson…. His level of corruption was best showcased when he refereed the City Arsenal FA Cup semi final. That was possibly the most one sided and corrupt performance I’ve ever witnessed from an official. Arsenal kicked David Silva out of the game and he did nothing but book City players for complaining about his ineptness. There was of course a wrongly disallowed goal (Aguero) and a blatant offside winner to complete an all star bent performance. People like Pawson are enemies of the game and need ridding out.
Yep. The pic alone shows a reckless challenge. And if he 'got his shot away' is the reason to not give it then the tackle is late which I believe is also a foul..I know the ball had gone, and a still image is never perfect , but what the fuck is happening when this is ok.

this is what I said:30 cameras and AI are surely not in on a conspiracy?
Humans only have any input with offsides now to stop the footage at the point the ball is played. Humans have no further input after they point into offsides anymore.
We should definitely see and hear the VAR processes though.
When organising and compiling a list of things to present to the PL+PIGMOL we can’t bring conspiracy stuff into it, we have to present legitimate arguments. We will not get listened to if we bring conspiracy stuff into it.
He gave many fouls, last night, for challenges ‘after the ball had gone’. In fact, I’d imagine half the fouls, in every game, are such fouls. Seems like it’s exempt if it’s in the box which suggests that breaking someone’s leg is perfectly acceptable, provided you do it in the box, after your victim has had a shot, which could be an interesting new approach, and Erling better watch out!Yep. The pic alone shows a reckless challenge. And if he 'got his shot away' is the reason to not give it then the tackle is late which I believe is also a foul..
In the PGMOL cartoon image, Dias's feet are off the floor. In the actual footage, which shows the ball being headed, they're on the ground. The footage was clearly advanced to "prove" the Newcastle player was "onside".In the first picture Dias has his right arm tucked in to his body, in the AI generated image the arm is away from the body which can only mean one thing, that Pawson deliberately chose a frame later in the play to be able to make an onside call.
This is PROOF that it is nothing other than corruption and if anyone on here has connections in the press, I would hope they could pass it on. This needs investigating. Combine that with the non penalty incidents in the first half and it stinks.
It’s pure corruption as incompetence would mean shit decisions for both teams but only 1 team benefited from that performance yesterday. Wish the club would demand audio on var, demand explanations from Webb etc. All we get at most is a single line from Pep. We are far too weak as a club re PGMOLWe got a yellow for every 2.66 fouls.
They got a yellow for every 12 fouls.
Tonali and Joelinton had 4 fouls between them that stopped dangerous counters.
Joelinton had a late cynical foul on Bernie that was given as a simple foul.
Bruno, Tonali, and Joelinton took turns kicking Cherki with no bookings.
The only yellow that was given to a Newcastle player was a very late card to Joelinton for a fairly run of the mill foul, especially by the standards of the match.
Their second goal was offside but given based on an inaccurate CGI assessment. And Donnarumma was obviously fouled in the build up.
We probably should have had at least one penalty.
This was easily one of the worst refereeing performances I have seen in a very long time.
So much so that this is my first post on here in quite some time. That is how angry I am after watching such astoundingly bad officiating.
Is it corruption or incompetence?
It’s hard to tell, but if it carries on as we progress through the season, it is ultimately corruption, either way.
100% its obviously been 'moved' forwardIn the PGMOL cartoon image, Dias's feet are off the floor. In the actual footage, which shows the ball being headed, they're on the ground. The footage was clearly advanced to "prove" the Newcastle player was "onside".
Dias does jump, or more of a hop, though.this is what I said:
Maybe its not sinister but the total lack of transparency or discussion makes it so.
So with all this lack of human intervention, how did Dias 'jump' on the image when both his feet were on the floor in reality. Also, was the line on the computer drawn image applied in the right place (the cuff on his shirt)?
We seem to agree that there should at least be an explanation of this decision and I think the Phil non penalty.

And the non-handball penalty as well. If you could hear the VAR and referee talking about it I’m sure a lot of dissent with it, would become diliquescent.this is what I said:

I think that was Ait-Nouri fouling Gvardiol in our victory over Wolves, and Pawson, who was apparently on VAR duties yesterday, was subsequently criticised by the Key Match Incident Panel (3-2 against his decision) for awarding it. Doesn’t excuse it, but one can start to see why he chose not to intervene yesterday.

Or it just highlights how little us fans understand the rule ;)
PS its a clear penalty and red card for a two footed lunge. Did anyone see the after match interview by the ref explaining his decision ?
I don’t disagree. The inconsistency is ridiculous. There shouldn’t be a 3-2 split on such decisions. It would have been a foul anywhere else on the pitch yesterday, so its occurring in the box should make no difference.Fair - it was more about the principle of a pen being given after a shot rather than the incident. Think yesterday's was fsr more egregious
Dias does jump, or more of a hop, though.
Press the settings and slow the footage down to x0.25 and go to 2mins 45secs and keep an eye on Dias. He hops in the air at the point Woltemade heads it:

Both his feet are off the ground at this point^
I think his right foot is on the ground but in any case the rule is the the armpit is the deciding line and their footage used the sleeve.

What??From the part of the arm closest to the goal that would be in line with the bottom of the armpit when in a natural position.
It’s where they judge handballs from too.
