Spurs fans are already questioning his preference for pragmatism over panache, which will never endear him, particularly to older supporters. Seen him labelled a ‘PE teacher’, which is amusing if cruel.

No they aren't. And no they won't.
They've only conceded 4 less than us, we're having an indifferent start but they are apparently blowing everyone away.

They are +18.
We are +14.
Not exactly streets ahead.

When Spurs played us they had 7 pre-season games, a UEFA Super Cup final and 1 PL game under their belt.

We had one pre-season game against a second division Italian team and 1 PL game against a team that at this stage of the season, in regards to points, are the worst the PL has ever seen.

Even Brighton had 10 games under their belt when we played them.

We came into the season so undercooked from not having a proper pre-season, it took us nearly 2 months to really get going.

That CWC screwed us over big time.

Nope we are on track to concede 19 and we won't break the 15 goal mark, VAR gives away more pens, defending is harder these days and when we get to the Xmas period with a game every few games more goals will get conceded. We will concede more than 20 but less than 30 I reckon.

I reckon Arteta will rotate for that game. Take out Saliba and Timber, maybe Rice too, maybe use it to get minutes into some of the returning players like Martinelli and Madueke.

Haven't played Chelsea yet but it will be interesting to see how both clubs will progress up to our January meeting.
