He beat his man a few times and came close to scoring. He was a 3/10 like most players and yet for some reason a lot of fans are singling him out. When you're angry, it's really easy to pick on a player and that's what many did, and it made it worse not better.

We didn't lose the game because Savinho was playing, we lost because Pep for some incomprehensible reason switched the first team and the subs. bench. He is to blame. Fortunately, whilst he has been here, he has been brilliant for us, and I am sure he will continue to be so. He just has this in his nature. None of us are perfect.

He gave 100%? With respect, what the f**k were you watching? Watch their second goal again last night. Look who crossed it and which lazy fucker was NOT closing him down or making any attempt to even get close to him. Nico was defiantly having words with him about that just after the goal. Unsurprisingly Savinho was arguing back. He also ambled back, sulking, on at least 4 occasions when he lost good possession as well. Not trying to have a go at a fellow blue who usually posts good stuff, but that’s the worst take on Savinho I’ve ever read.

Did he balls give 100%. Watch their second goal back. It's his man who puts the cross in for Shick but he just stands five yards off him and lets the cross come in. Lost count of how many times he gave it away and stood still flapping his arms about. His slip was barely even a proper slip, it was like he decided to have a lie down mid-motion.

We must be watching different games. 1/10 would be generous.

I’m not saying we lost because of him. That’s silly. But he is consistently worst on ground and yet he keeps getting substantial minutes.

Our lack of wingers are a clear issue.

We still need to give others game time because they will need to be called upon over the next few months with the amount of games. Just don’t make 10 changes at once.

Poor at Newcastle, but the set-up that was working prior to that match.

Could be Ait-Nouri at left back, perhaps he needs a chance to get up to speed. But he‘s just been so wank so far.
 
Leverkusen was a self inflicted fuck up. I understand the need for rotation but rotating ten players against a team as good as that was nuts. We need to regain momentum and Leeds at the Ethiad is a great opportunity. They’re not terrible and they counter fast down the wings, but they have a leaky defense. Think Erling will get his ton. Cmon you fecking blues.
