9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

The lad should join the WWE, the way he is wrestled to the ground without getting fuck all is beyond silly now, iknkw he’s a big lad but when two of them are pulling him down what chance does he have, plus the service to him was hit as well.

I'm probably going to get pelters for this, but I'm not arsed.

I said this to my mate, who's a Leeds fan, that this was the second time I've watched Haaland not play as he should against Leeds and he sent me this:

I don't hate on it, he was born there and has ties to his home city.

For me, I'd rather not select him to play Leeds in the future.
 
Pretty sure he usually starts the season on fire then slumps around now. There is a clear pattern emerging in that regard

Remember him looking gutted when he scored twice at their place in 22/23 haha.

Missed a few sitters in the home game too from memory.

Don’t think there’s much to it, though, as we’ve seen him have games like today before masked by a goal or two.

I think, outside of this being Leeds, Haaland knows what kind of game it's going to be when certain players are not on the pitch.

He seems to come to life more when Cherki plays, for me, as he did when de Bruyne was here.

No good today. Thought he'd gotten over this tendency he has to start every season like a house on fire and then have a sudden dip. Seems to do it every year and he's got to cut it out.

Every fucking run is to the back post. Mix it up! Him just standing there when Doku put that one in across the six-yard box on 75 mins, standing there while the Leeds defender nearly put it in his own net. Attack the ball, mate!

Look here. What chance has Doku got of finding Haaland in this scenario when Haaland's first instinct is to vanish behind five fucking defenders? And then not even attack a loose ball six yards out? The mind boggles sometimes.

He barely reacts to what's happening in front of him here ffs.

It’s been like that very often yet Dolu gets criticized. Whenever he doesn’t score it’s the teams fault for not giving him valls. If he scores we are being carried . Make it sense!
 
He seemed happy when we scored, but to me it looked like he didn't want to be there today, especially second half.
I would've taken him off and put Marmoush on early second half, he looked that poor.

came on to see if anyone had picked up this, he didn't gamble, didnt follow up, by his standards this little passage was poor.
