Don't compare hotel rates to those you'd find in a typical European city. There will be an extremely limited number of rooms available within a reasonable distance to the stadium so expect to pay a lot when a big CL game is happening, especially when you take the high cost of living in Norway into account.
Right now I'd be concentrating on how to actually get there before dealing with accommodation if I was keen on going.

Cheers was going to fly to Tromso on the Sunday in two minds to do 2 nights in Tromso and one in Bodo or the other way round

And the hotel has also doubled in price

nice one, same hotel as were in and similar flight on way back on the wednesday, travel via oslo on sunday, not sure they be much daylight in jan thou think you get 2 hours of day light.

Tickets will be the big issue as the stadium’s capacity is only 8,000. Spurs received an allocation of 400 for last season’s Europa SF.

That's a good watch ..... Bodø looks to be a bleak Norwegian town that can definitely attract some really cold (and wet) northern weather .... the ground, and it's facilities, look pretty basic to say the least, and it only has a capacity of around 8,200, so it's probably exactly what you'd expect ....... what is admirable is the backing for the local football club from people and businesses within the town, the colour yellow is evident everywhere, in hotels, shops, at the airport, the lot ....... the vocal support, and clapping that their supporters manage to generate at games is quite impressive, considering the relatively small number of supporters who actually attend this compact little stadium, and it's easy too see how Bodø have made quite a name for themselves in Europe with some of their impressive results ........ this hardy bunch of staunch Norwegian souls that turn up every week in all weathers to watch Bodø clearly love their football club.

But Bodø are 'what they are', and we SHOULD be capable of winning there ..... it could, however, be a difficult night for us should we underestimate them, concede a goal or two, and their passionate crowd stands firmly behind them.
