I'm not entirely sold on this transfer, but if we do go for it, we better do it January 1, and not spend a month umming and ahhing before signing him on the deadline like we did with several last season. January transfers need to be brought in ASAP so they get a chance to settle in and contribute this season.

Doku and Semenyo is the wing partnership that can sort a lot of our issues. They have the technical skillset, both two footed, both very good at carrying the ball. Both excellent in hold up play. Will be very good for Haaland

He definitely raises our level out wide currently. I had written us off as being interested once Savinho renewed but he clearly cannot be relied on right now - whether you think he's not good enough or just severely lacking confidence. Bobb is another one who is struggling to get any kind of form going. I wouldn't be shocked if both wanted to leave on loan in January given their current form/minutes, with a World Cup on the horizon. If we signed Semenyo, both could be on the way out.
