Media discussion - 2025/26

Also, according to the beebs coverage of the Premier League today, I don't think we actually played a game. Not a single mention of our game anywhere on the main pages.

Also, every other top 6 team's results have been covered on the beeb radio news this morning, not a single mention that we even played... Clear and obvious
This happens all the time. And people think there isn’t an agenda!!

Serial simpleton Jay Bothroyd unable to get his walnut sized brain around the fact that until the corner actually gets taken, Bernardo Silva can stand wherever the fuck he wants……
Or.......
He knows full well that Bernie can stand where he wants and is fully upto date with all the laws of the game.

But as he is on sky he is going to ignore all what he knows to have a go at City. That way he keeps getting invited back.

I will not watch sky. They are never going to be honest and fair towards us so there us no point.

First local news this morning in the BBC said the rags moved up to 6th.

*Edit...still saying top 6 at 8.30!!!

It's all just childish bollocks or the media team?

We keep being told how what a wonderful, paragon of virtue checking and rechecking news to verify correctness ....

It's definitely not the case with sport and on occasions when reports have appeared on 'real news' that I've had a bit of inside info on or some in-depth knowledge they just churn out shite as to be fair all media outlets do.
That's the problem, how can we ever believe anything the BBC news reports when we know for a fact how bad their reporting is on us?

Rags are 7th.

So now talk of bringing in a rule regards players going down injured for a tactical timeout (aimed more at keepers) after City’s game against Leeds, why is this only gathering traction now and not when Arsenal were doing it every other week last few seasons.
I wrote as much on the BBC article. Probably get removed for breaking rules. Meanwhile top comment is "city will just find a way around the rulrs like they always do".

Rag cunts

When the Leeds manager brought it up post match about donnarumma going down injured, strange that not one of the media pose the question about other teams doing it over the last couple of seasons, the outrage when something favours City and goes against another club, look at the reaction to the red scousers van dyke goal being chalked off compared to a similar one yesterday for wolves the narrative was it’s the right decision, but how come it wasn’t when we played the red scousers..

Bothroyd on the same retainer as Spitty from Dipper towers.

I'm sure someone has probably asked this type of question on here before but, is there any way we could submit a freedom of information request to the BBC in relation to comments being removed, or being allowed to stay on their site? I'm sure there must be internal conversations that are had, either specific to individual comments, or at a general policy level (maybe eluding to different rules for different teams). Would these be fair game for a freedom of information request?

Bang on regarding both incidents. Strange how Wolves' disallowed goal wasn't discussed in context with the Scouse Red Filth being cheated (yet again!) by City..

Strange also that the gathering of several Leeds players to (a) take on some water and (b) get instruction from Farke hasn't been mentioned either..

I said on this thread' yesterday that as the break in play began, our group in the North stand was genuinely confused by what was going on. It wasn't clear at first that it was because Donnarumma had pulled up. For my part, as I saw Pep waving frantically at all the City team to get to the technical area and also several Leeds players running to the tunnel, I initially thought 'is there an emergency?', eg maybe someone fallen ill in the crowd? My response was largely because I've never seen us do that 'Arsenal Huddle' before.. it seemed so strange for us to do that!

Of course, it's all down to us being masters of the 'Dark Arts' and all that other voodoo garbage that none of the other teams would ever get up to, honest guv..
