Gvardiol and Nunes cost us that goal in added time just before the break... we gifted them that opportunity stupidly.
No they didn't. Not everything has to have an error attached to it. Gvardiol giving away the corner was unfortunate, Nunes did nothing wrong in running the ball out. If you really insist on finding fault, you can perhaps look at players who weren't in the front press out and look at how they set themselves but in reality it was simply a well taken goal.

Of course I am delighted with the overall 45 mins but you made an issue of me stating that we do braindead things. Then lo and behold, we concede from a braindead action from Gvardiol and then arguably another from Nunes.

We literally do everything we can to help the opposition, when they don’t deserve anything. Two goals against Leeds, another tonight. Completely avoidable situations but as I said, we do braindead things.

I don’t know how you can watch us, and think otherwise.
Completely agree, Gvardiol is a fecking liability. He simply takes too many chances and makes too many mistakes. He hasn't got a defence first mindset, and subsequently we concede possession too close to our own goal on too many occasions.

Here's the big test for Foden. Let's see you run the game in the second half and control it.

Our big fault is not being able to react to opposition changes in the second half of games. This is where Foden will show his leadership potential.

The only reason they scored that goal was because of a shit touch by Nunes.

He boots that up the pitch and we go in 3 nil at HT. Pretty much game over.

Now Fulham have something to bite in to for the second half.

Only reason it was a corner was because of Gvardiol - we compound mistakes.

I wonder if matterface will mention our poor away form this half....oh....he's done it already.
