As someone has alread said on here, we're without the best midfielder in the world In Rodri and without the multiple champions league winner in Kovacic.

How do you think arsenal would cope without Rice and Zubimendi in midfield?

I don't think it was about last season in particular, teams have been getting used to the way we're playing and the way football has changed in general over the past decade, with more teams now punting it forward and trying to get up the field as quickly as possible rather that the slower, more measured build up we used to see.

The more direct, attacking football you see, the more goals you're going to see, doesn't matter who it is. We've had a lot of high scoring matches in the league in the past few seasons, and in each of the last three seasons we've had more goals scored in total than in any of the previous seven seasons.
 
I don’t want shit on the side given we’re second but we tried to defend that lead today and realised we’re not good enough defensively but we also can’t hold onto the ball and kill a game that way anymore either.

Used to be able to keep the ball for 5/10 minutes and kill a game completely, not now.

Well said - as somebody mentioned earlier, if we had been 1-4 down and come back to win 5-4 we would be celebrating it. Although the melts on here would still be in meltdown over the 4 goals even if we'd scored 8.

Just watched the goals back. Spot on. We leave so many free on the edge even on their corners. Fuck all co-ordination from the bench unless he’s telling them to leave them after they already scored from those positions

Hating? Bizarre when a player plays badly and fans point it out extremists scream the word "hate".

He's had a few bad matches - fans are allowed to point that out. He's paid millions to at least be able to run with the ball without falling over.
