Not really no.Is there such a thing as a free role in this City side.
I don't think anyone ever denied his natural talent. But he seems genuinely thick. Pep could probably never get through to him. Likely the same reason Palmer left. But, surely, from a single conversation Pep could have picked up that the guy was dense and unlikely to be able to match his/our high standards.

Ironically scoring the winner Everton last night (lucky as fuck tbf), when we could have done with bringing him on to see the game out last night.
I know his time here is done and he wouldn't want to be a bit part player but we could have done with replacing him better.

Personally think he's had a better season than every winger we've got bar Doku this season, so there is an argument he wouldn't have played which is why he left.
There have been moments when we've needed a player like him though.

I was going to make a little joke last night when i saw he had scored asking was it misplaced pass or a deflection, something along those lines. I've just seen the goal, it was exactly that, massive deflection sending the keeper the wrong way. Only way he ever seems to score
