Nice to hear from you again and more importantly you watched the full game. This is the first game in a year nearly that i watched right through, asked a couple of questions, cheered the goals and really nice to finally see the players beaming and feel happy for them

Agreed. I said at the time the two best signings were Cherki and Khusanov. We haven't seen anything of either yet, wait until they get going proper.Arguably our best performance of the season thus far given the opposition, which have made things very difficult for other “big” teams since being promoted. Reckon they are a better team overall than all but us, Arse, and Villa at the moment. They deserve a lot of credit for where they are, even after their loss today.
I think most of our lads played well, but special mention to O’Reilly, Doku, Phil, Donnarumma, and, of course, my MOTM, Cherki.
I shared this in the match thread: When we were rumoured to be in for Reijnders and Cherki, almost all of my mates were very excited about the Dutchman, but I said that I thought Cherki was the real potential star people pay to see.
Nothing against Reijnders, who I think will come good for us, but Cherki has the potential to be our new Kev. Not a direct replacement by any means, but the sort of player that can breakdown stubborn defences we most often face and chip in with opposition morale-destroying assists and goals that swing momentum in matches.
Really looking forward to how Pep molds him over the coming years!
Exactly. Why do we have that core of fans that think we're never going to concede chances?Might have been but we had a hatful of chances. They had 2 the whole game. Given they are top 6 you have to put that down as a very solid performance. Arsenal are prob starting to shit bricks
Or what about if we'd managed to hold out for the win at the Emirates. 3 point swing right there. We'd be top now.Brilliant 3 points and clean sheet to boot, against a Sunderland side who have been decent so far,2 points behind now and immediately had me thinking of that Newcastle game we were cheated in ..
Um, not that many that I can remember, but the way we play it's always going to happen and whoever you are it's going to be difficult to get past 10 men whenever they're parked in the penalty box for most of the match. The sort of match where finally everyone connected to the club can see the full arrival of Rayan Cherki - how many times in recent seasons have teams defended deep and we are left to moan about how we cannot break them down and get vital goals despite having 70% possession.
Wouldn't be the post-match without somebody having a whinge about something.Bet you're fun at parties
Cool story bro , what about your cat and chocolate? This is the first game in a year nearly that i watched right through, asked a couple of questions, cheered the goals and really nice to finally see the players beaming and feel happy for them

Reasonably comfortable? I don't remember the keeper having another save to make. We dealt with pretty much everything without any real issue. I'd like to see us closing down more before they get into the penalty area but you're never going to get teams not attacking when they get the chance.Nunes cocked up last week and Leeds were back in the game
Dias cocked-up up today but Donnarumma made a great block
Fine margins, but overall we played well and looked reasonably comfortable.
