Not even watching Dennis Taylor beat Davis in the last black final could help. As that happend the same night we all watched it as a family. 1985 I was 14.

Which film is that from, just out of interest?
I've never been able to explain it, but there's something peculiarly creepy about someone looking through a window at you, smiling and beckoning in a clearly malignant way. I can think of several films where it's been used (particularly by Polanski in The Tenant).

Was that Jason and the Argonauts, the 1963 one? I remember being hugely impressed by that as a kid. Frightened, too. The Medusa scene is brilliant.
