He’s Mo Salah. He just signed on for 2 more years and, it appears, there were some promises made. Whether either side has kept up their end of the bargain remains to be seen.
I see the old ex-pro Liverpool mafia have been piling on, as he predicted, but I’m sure he gives two fucks about those “pundits” stealing a living.
He is, by a country mile, the reason for whatever success they’ve had over the last years, and yet it’s clear he feels like they’ve decided they made a mistake and are ready to cut him loose. He seems happy to go, even though he’ll tell you he bleeds Liverpool red, but it’s also clear he feels like he has been scapegoated and the agenda is designed to free up “his” money for his replacement.
TAA gave them the best years of his life, but wanted to try Spain and the best club in the history of football. Sadly, Liverpool fans think that’s them and Anfield, but the delusion is an illusion, too!
No doubt Mo will get the same treatment if he ever shows up for an opposition team, or even in the starting line up, because they closed ranks and circled the wagons around the institution that feeds them. He already telegraphed that he knew that would happen, so now it’s a simple matter of where, when, at what price, because he looks and sounds like he’s done…albeit after only 3 matches on the bench!
He’s a grown ass man with principles, and he’ll do whatever he wants. I just want him to either come here or go a long way away.
He’s been a pain in our arse in a pain in the arse team, so no Blue should be sad to see if go, but it all got a bit unseemly very quickly. I guess that’s what happens when you poke the bear and the bear doesn’t give a fk!
Let’s just hope it’s not all a ploy to free up the cash for Semenyo in January! Gakpo, Ekitike/Isak, and Semenyo is a pretty potent front 3/4!!
