I do enjoy the champions league teams getting announced early, it gives us an extra half hour on here for lads to lose their minds and think they know better than the best manager there has ever been

But they don’t get announced any earlier than PL now.

Im happy with the team, but us being unchanged AGAIN has me starting to think pep has kalvin/kelvined the rest of the squad and has no faith in them at all

I think we are seeing that Pep doesnt have much confidence in some of our squad with how little he is willing to change things at the minute (not exclusively this game)

I'd have gone with reijnders for cherki to start with, bit more running power from the off and i'd ideally want someone (doku or cherki) dangerous and fresh to come on against a tired makeshift defence second half instead of potentially bringing on Reijnders. Bobb or Savinho in search of a goal.

Not complaining with that team, it's a better 11 on paper than theres. Just a case of do we get the tactics right for once there or do we shit the bed.

If I ever became a football manager in another life I'd announce my teams the day before like in Rugby & Cricket.

Partly just because it would drive people on here insane, secondly kill all those stupid ITK and fantasy football accounts who claim to know who'll start, and partly to prove it wouldn't make a single bit of difference to announcing it 1 hour before.

Pep’s favourite 11 at the minute, bar the Newcastle game it’s done pretty well for us.

Honestly, we could’ve won that game too. We just didn’t finish our chances. Meanwhile you see wonder goals go in in other matches, like that Ruben Dias one last time. So yeah, it could’ve easily ended 4–2 for us.

How about we don't worry about things that might or might not be true and just enjoy the evening cheering on the lads who are starting and who have got us into 2nd in the premier league and who will want to do their very best for the shirt tonight?

Valverde is playing right full back I think, Rudiger is a great centre half and Vini is dangerous. Tchouameni a clogger I don't rate one bit, Bellinghams  decent but I hate him with a burning passion so can't bring myself to say anything positive. Rodrygo makes Savinho look like Jairzinho.

Mainly we can get at their full backs, Valverde is out of position and this Carreras lad, well I've only watched him play the last 2 games and maybe I'm unlucky but he's the worst player I've ever seen in a Madrid shirt.
