This has been pathetic from Pep. It's as if he's done Alonso a favour by saying, we'll setup exactly how you want us to setup so you can rinse us. Let's have Bernardo Silva playing as a false 9 pointlessly chasing shadows and have nobody in midfield. Let's throw O'reilly high up at every opportunity bearing in mind we have no midfield. And as if that wasn't a crazy enough idea, let's attack at walking pace despite throwing everybody forward. Just an insanely amateur setup.

I cannot believe how bad this tactical set up as been. You either keep it tight at the back and give up the attacking threat, or take risks up top and leave yourself more exposed at the back.

We’ve managed to be open as fuck at the back and offer absolutely nothing up front. Quite impressive really.
