Well Glasner is resting all his players for there game today! That game will be so hard at palace we can’t lose it we have to win a draw isn’t really good enough!

To be honest I think a draw would be alright now and even a loss isn’t that catastrophic given where we are and who we have coming up in the next few weeks.

They aren’t as good at home and even the rags beat em so they are beatable despite their good season.

I’ll disappointed if don’t win but if we up against it not on it we get a point that’s ok!

This is a really important match, we can’t afford anything but a win.
Must not lose game for me, as long as we win the next 3 against West Ham, Forest(A) and Sunderland(A). 41 points at the half way stage with an unbeaten momentum will set us nicely for the tougher games against Chelsea and Brighton.

unironically, maybe a tougher game than last night even though it was against damned Real Madrid.

Palace defends with 11 players behind the ball who are equipped with heavy physicals. no room for rest Cherki. the most creative player on this team, without him we look decapitated. if he starts from the bench, we will have the same game as in the FA Cup final. disorganized in attack

We are serious about the title but Palace is not a must win. It's December, not April.

Of course, it's far better to win than not, and we have a good chance to win at Palace, for our attack is great. But a draw/loss wouldn't make Arsenal champions in December.
Disagree mate. 3 points now is no different to 3 points then. Either way, we add 3 to the season’s end total, which gives us more chance of finishing 1st, than not.

Nobody is champions in December. Never have been, never will be.

We have not lost there for 10 years and Palace have dropped points in every game after a Conference League game I believe this season.

Even United won 2-1 there.

They have won 2 games at home all season.

I would be more concerned if it was at the Etihad.

I don’t think there will be as much rotation as some think. This is a big game. Depends on fitness of course but could see us name an unchanged 11. If Tijjani comes back in I hope it’s for Foden/Cherki not Bernie/Nico G. But could also be Savio. I think his cameo last night was good because the game was so open. Games we dominate possession he looks lost.

Maybe Ake/Ait Nouri in. I’d love to see Lewis in for Bernie if he’s not 100%.

I'd go same again in part because players like Marmoush, Khusanov and RAN have played so few minutes that I feel they might struggle. I am assuming that Stones, Kovacic and Rodri will be out. We need to bring back Marmoush and RAN into the squad after the ACON. I do not think a one-off game is the right moment. They need continuity.

It depends too on the fatigue factor. Away games after a CL away game are notoriously difficult but it does not always work out that way.

I think the outcome of this game might also depend a lot on the team that Palace pick tonight.

But but..I thought old Trafford anfield and elland road were really intimidating stadiums full of hostile atmosphere which makes the away team nervous...?

The history clubs home records are outshone by Big Brentford and Bournemouth, lol

Not an ideal fixture after last night, as that will have taken a lot out of the players. At least Palace are playing tonight so have even less recovery time. They’ve not rotated as heavily as I thought either. Seven of their starting XI from last weekend are in the line-up tonight.

Donnarumma
Khusanov Dias Ake
Nunes Gonzalez Reijnders Ait-Nouri
Cherki Haaland Foden

Doku, Bernardo, Marmoush to come into the game.
