Seen us play Palace multiple times including at S park and never seen us win.

I will not go tomorrow and jinx it.

Good lad 'CB', you know it makes sense, lol !

Just don't go getting under the wife's feet, they generally like the run of the house on Sundays .... i've already asked permission to watch the match at 2pm !

I thought both the Villa and Newcastle games were real barometers for where we are. Lost both, albeit absolutely scammed on Tyneside and without a proper midfield at Villa. Palace is harder, arguably.
Yep, we'll. certainly need another Madrid like performance at Selhust Park, and especially if Palace score first ..... am just hoping Palace tire in the 2nd half , as they did against the rags.

Yep, two tough games in which we missed good chances, and failed miserably, we have to improve all over the pitch on those performances today, and be clinical with any chances that we do manage to create.

Starting XI picks itself (Donnarumma - Nunes, Dias, Guardiol, O'Reilly - Nico, Bernardo, Foden - Cherki, Haaland, Doku)

3-1 City with goals from Haaland (2) and Guardiol

Good shout re: Gvardiol. He has contributed 6 G/A so far, and most of the season is ahead. At this rate, he is likely to contribute 10+ G/A from a CB position. Doesn't happen too often...

He’s been a bit sloppy recently but I think he is potentially world class.

He's potentially *the* best in the world if you take into account the whole package. He won't be the best in purely defensive terms, but the whole package is superior in terms of potential to any of our legendary defenders. He's better than Kompany and Stones when they were 23.
