Face it, the club don't care about us. They just care about the bottom line on a spreadsheet
Alas if you don’t at Madrid you don’t get in. Unless you speak fluent Spanish then you’ve got a chance.Hang on, they are expecting you to take your passport to the ground to be checked before entry to the game.
When i travel anywhere it gets locked in a safety deposit box, certainly wouldn’t be taking it anywhere near a day on the piss and a late kick off even for non drinkers still a big risk with pickpockets.
Would definitely say that’s one for City Matters/FSF
Same here when we first moved I had to sit in third tier of the Colin Bell it was Fukin awfulWow. Not experiencing that myself. I’m still sitting with the same gang that moved up from the Kippax into the new stadium.
I think the narrative is spinning out of control. Just my opinion of course -(before the pelters come my way)
My Dentist - Real fan - wanted to got to the game. Looked on resale sites, tickets in City section on sale for a minimum of €3500.Are they writing to all their ticket tout partners and asking them why they are continuing to sell tickets to away fans in the home ends.
Here we go again...
You must have such a sad life continually moaning, i pity you...I see you've still got a bit of brown on your nose.
No. If an OSC branch applies for 10 tickets and only gets 2 they still have to allocate those 2 to specific supporters via the portal, so they get the points. For the Madrid game, those tickets would still have names on and the names would have to match the ID.Aren't you doing the exact opposite by suggesting its okay for one (supporters clubs getting tickets to distribute how they see fit) but not okay for the other (points holders essentially doing the same.)
Match day membersJust out of interest, what did sales drop down to?
No, because if a transfer is to a friends and family member it’s very different to somebody who’s a mate that doesn’t qualify,at the possible expense of somebody that does.Could be multiple reasons i guess.
Maybe some one was ill and couldnt travel, for example.
Is it not the same as the club making life difficult when transferring tickets for home games?
Just the club being pricks with the fans
Very true mateThis is the correct action to take by the club, regardless of if they are making mistakes in other areas, both points can be true.
So basically any City fan could have got one without getting tickets from mates?Match day members
The requirement for named tickets is more likely to be a Spanish police requirement than a City one though.I personally saw three tickets over 2 days changing hands between blues. Two were handed over for less than cost the third for a pint. Dont know why 3 blues couldnt make it but the tickets all went to genuine manc blues on the day which is better than 3 empty seats.
I think you make a good point, and perhaps I am being a touch melodramatic/hyperbolic, however I would say that City are building their 'fan' base for the future, and the future is tourists.I’m not sure I agree. Are we replaceable currently?
We struggle to sell out for quite a few games and we struggle with hospitality as well. If the legacy fans don’t show up, we don’t have legions of tourists to take our place at the moment.
People might say that’s not true, look at the Madrid game. I’d argue one off games like that were full of away fans
Yes mate but some choose to put the risk on their mates by not buying a match day membership. (Obviously, mates can refuse to supply tickets). So basically any City fan could have got one without getting tickets from mates?
That’s true but it has very little to do with this thread.Face it, the club don't care about us. They just care about the bottom line on a spreadsheet
All the way down. Anyone with a membership and history could get one.Just out of interest, what did sales drop down to?
