A lot of raiding the premier league clubs if we go by our targets. Semenyo, Livramento , Guehi and Anderson. Change of strategy maybe? Normally we have targets in other leagues but it’s just been premier league players.
If he doesn't he's making another big mistake.Indeed, in a game he doesn’t care about winning much.
LolIf he doesn't he's making another big mistake.
No January incomings with substantial sales - it's all down to amortization I'm told by the learned contributors on here.
What as in first week in January?
When was our first signing last January?
True, happy to see both in the departure lounge making way for the likes of Wharton, Anderson, Semenyo or even Guehi ;-)But Ake will have nil balance now on the player sheet so would be all profit as would Bobb if he goes?
Wharton or Anderson would be better I'd say but if Ake left there'd be room for two.

Ake wants out. Therefore his spot is up for grabs.
Buying clubs will always drive the price down as much as they can and they would use Grealish’s lack of squad space as a catalyst to do that.
Rumblings about a World Cup place being in doubt if he isn’t playing.Who says Ake wants out?
He has been told by Holland he has to leave or his World Cup spot is in danger. If there is, I still don’t see the sense in it in place of Ake, rather than as an addition.
Unless Ake himself wants to leave and that's the starting and driving point here.
Currently we have four ATs registered for the domestic competitions - Bettinelli, Stones, Ake & Phillips and one vacancy in the PL free list as well as one in the CL one plus an AT there as well because Kalvin isn't included - but not two places in both competitions unless one the four above is removed. There's room for two as is mate.
Read somewhere that Semenyos release clause runs out during Jan but may be incorrect info2nd or 3rd week of January i think it was mate.
Unless I missed something the Norwegian managers rant was heavily critical of his performance rather than his attitude.Correct. We should wait until January.
I've not seen anything from him apart from the Newcastle goal to suggest he's going to be good enough for us. The concern is that the Norwegian manager had a pop at him about his attitude which could be a personality clash on its own, but he looks out of favour with Pep as well.
Thought it was attitude but may have been more performance related. Either way, an air of the Sancho efect when you've got two managers dropping youUnless I missed something the Norwegian managers rant was heavily critical of his performance rather than his attitude.
100%i'd rather let Savio go

Or thank him? We don’t need Ake sitting on his arse, collecting his significant wages for the sake of 10 games a season. Good on Koeman for being straight with Ake and good on Ake for pushing for a move. It suits him and it suits City. If we can use him to get Guehi, even better.I think we can blame Koeman for Ake looking to leave. Koeman has said that if Ake wants to play at the World Cup he will need to be playing at club
“We’ve talked about it. Something has to change,” said Koeman when explaining Ake’s inclusion in his latest squad despite the 30-year-old’s lack of minutes at the Etihad Stadium.
“You can’t hardly play and still be part of a national team. Match practice is part of that,” Koeman added”
If it came to an important stretch of games at the end of the year and through injuries or suspension Ake had to play a key role I’d have every confidence in him.Or thank him?
